This is the first photo that I shot Descendent.  I mapped it out in charcoal off of a photo that I took of myself in the Lakeshore tower building elevator in Irvine.

 

Sorry for all of the gloss, I hit the background in black out paints (what a surprise).  I left canvas exposed on purpose (I did not forget to paint it); it is a representation of vulnerability and self exposure.

 

Ohh what a hansom man.  This is me with a little color.  I must have gotten some sun.  I am still not quite done yet though; what do you say we see the next photo?

 

It was love at first sight.  I was drinking some dirty Italian wine called "Ripasso" when I painted this and that is the bottle that you see in my hand.  The painting has some additional color development at this stage.

 

He the two of us are.  I used to know this girl who would email me when even I posted a new painting.  That meant a great deal but the times have changed and now she now longer visits me.
